“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel, which ye have received, by which you are being saved, if you keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless you have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first that which I received how the Christ died for our sins according to all the Tanach, He was buried and He rose again the third day according to all the Tanach.” (1 Cor 15) (Luke 24)
The gospel or good news preached to the unbeliever and for the believer is the Mashiach died for our sins according to the Tanach, He was buried and He rose again the third day according to the Tanach. “Faith comes from hearing, and hearing from the word of God”(Romans) and the “word (Old Testament) is preached by the gospel” (1 Peter). In the grace of God we do not exchange the gospel for a point of doctrine. We do not change the one true gospel that declares “the Christ died for our sins according to the Tanach, He was buried and He rose gain the third day according to all the Tanach” to “God loves all men”. We do not change the message to “saved by grace through faith” or any point of doctrine.
When the gospel is preached and God gives grace to a person by His will, the message is accepted. The message of God is the Mashiach’s death for our sins, His burial and His resurrection the third day, and according to the Old Testament. The gospel is accepted in its entirety by the grace of God that He wills upon the man. The converted person does not need to be convinced that the Christ died for our sins, He was buried and He rose again the third day. And he does not need to be convinced that this work of Christ was according to all the Tanach. He does not need to be convinced that the Tanach/Old Testament is the word of God and not the word of men. Holy men of God were moved by the Spirit of God to speak and write the Tanach. “All scriptures is given by inspiration of God.” The scriptures of the prophets speak of Yeshua, the Christ, spoken by the Spirit of the Father. For the Spirit of the Father only zealously testifies of the Mashiach, Yeshua. For what could the prophets speak of, but Yeshua, the Christ.
There is the one true gospel which we preach to the unbeliever and never cease to preach to the believer, and there is the understanding of the gospel which is heard in the assembly where the gospel is preached. The gospel is where grace is given to a person if God makes choice, and to the believer it is grace upon grace continually learning of the eternal purpose of God in the Mashiach, Yeshua. In the assembly where the gospel is preached there is prophecy, declaring the Mashiach from the scriptures of the prophets, and there is understanding that comes forth in the assembly when Yeshua is preached.
