“And I beheld another beast coming out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke as a “drakon”. And he does all that he does before the authority of the first beast, and he causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose wound of death was healed. And he doeth great signs, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth before men. And he deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by signs which were given to it to do before the beast, saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image for the beast, which had a wound by the sword and did live. And he had power to give life to the image for the beast, that the image for the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image for the beast, that they should be killed. And he causes all, the small and the great, the rich and the poor, the free and the slaves, to receive a mark on their right hand, or on their forehead. No man could buy or sell, except he that understood the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the age of the beast. For it is the age of a man, and his age is 666.”
“Let no man deceive you by any means, for except there come a falling away first and the man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition (antichristos) who opposeth and exalteth himself over all that is called God, so as an object of worship, he sits in the temple of God as God. Do you not remember when I was yet with you I told you these things. And now you know the restraining One, for He will reveal him in His own time. For the mystery of iniquity does already work, only He who now restrains, will allow, until out of the midst He comes (for judgment). And then that wicked one shall be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the Spirit of His mouth, and bring to nothing with the brightness of His coming. This wicked one’s coming was after the working of the Satan (the enemy) with all power and signs and wonders of a lie, and with all deceiveableness of unrighteousness in them that perish, because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God shall send them strong delusion (the working of error) that they should believe a lie, that they all might be judged, who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”
“If any man worship the beast and its image, and receive a mark on his forehead or on his hand, even he shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God having been mixed undiluted in the cup of His wrath. And he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy messengers, and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up “to all ages”. And they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and its image, and whosoever receives the mark of his name.”
“And I saw another sign in the heaven, great and marvelous, seven messengers having the seven last plagues. For in them is the wrath of God complete. And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire, and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over the image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God. ANd they sang the song of Moshah, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, “Great and marvellous are Thy works, Lord God Almighty (Yehovah Elohiym), just and true are Thy ways, Thou King of the saints. Who shall not fear Thee, O Lord, and glorify Thy name? For Thou alone are holy! For all nations shall come and worship before Thee. For Thy judgments are revealed.”
“Here is the patience of the saints. Here are they that keep the commandments of God and the faith of Yeshua. And I heard a voice from heaven say unto me, write, Blessend are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth. Yes, sayeth the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors, and their works do follow them. And I looked, and beheld a white cloud, and upon the cloud, one sat like unto the Son of man, having on His head a golden crown, and in His hand a sharp sickle. And another messenger came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to Him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle and reap. For the time is come for thee to reap. For the harvest of the earth is ready!”
Rev chapter 13 & 14 & 15; 2 Thes 2
There are two beasts in Rev 13, the first beast rose out of the sea. This is God’s instrument of judgment. The second beast comes out of the earth. This is the son of perdition, the man of sin, antichristos, the false prophet, the betrayer. They are all one and the same.
