According to the Old Testament or the Writings of the Prophets or the Scriptures

Beloved, the one true gospel is the Mashiach died for our sins according to the Old Testament, He was buried and He rose again the third day according to the Old Testament. The Old Testament is Genesis through Malachi. It is called the scriptures or the writing of the the prophets.  Genesis through Malachi, the scriptures, the writings of the prophets are all one and the same: the Old Testament.

The gospel is many times declared as “the Christ died for our sins, He was buried and He rose again the third day”, but we cannot forget “according to the Scriptures (Old Testament). For to omit “according to the scriptures” is to preach another gospel. We could say “according to the Old Testament the Mashiach died for our sins, He was buried and He rose again the third day” to emphasize and make sure we do not forget “according to the scriptures”. According to the Old Testament it was prophesied that the Mashiach would died for our sins, be buried and raised the third day. It was prophesied! It was foretold by God. It is the eternal purpose of God in Yeshua ha Mashiach fulfilled.

And not some of the Old Testament prophesies of the Mashiach death for our sins, His burial and His resurrection the third day, but ALL THE OLD TESTMENT PROPHESIES OF THE MASHIACH’S DEATH FOR OUR SINS, HIS BURIAL AND HIS RESURRECTION THE THIRD DAY.  Every verse, every passage, every line, every precept without exception prophesies of the Mashiach’s death for our sins, His burial and His resurrection the third day. This is without exception! And in the true grace of God there is no contention about these words of understanding. But the contentious will always be contentious!
