Hate without a cause, betrayal and the mystery of iniquity spiritually are one and the same. They are each spiritual words. All understanding comes through the scriptures of the prophets (Old Testament and Tanach, they too are one and the same) as they prophesy of the Mashiach’s death for our sins, His burial and His resurrection the third day.
They are five main passages in the Old Testament that prophesy of the purpose of God in the one true gospel in betrayal: Genesis 3, the serpent betrays the women; Genesis 4, Cain betrays Abel; Genesis 19, the two messengers betrayed in Sodom; Exodus 7, two magis (Yanah and Yanbar) of Pharoah betray the Hebrews (for they are Hebrew witnessed to by Paul in 2 Tim 3:8); and Judges 19, the Levite betrayed. Betrayal is the beginning of judgment, is it not so in the Mashiach!
Now in four of these prophecies betrayal is a mystery (it is not written), and that which is not written, also prophecies of the Mashiach. Is it not so with Melchezadek (Hebrews 7)! For the writer writes, from a few verses in the Old Testament(Genesis 14), “Of whom (Melchizadek) we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing you are dull of hearing”, dull of the report, dull of the gospel. It is so with Genesis 4, Genesis 19, Exodus 7 and Judges 19:16, that betrayal is a mystery in the scriptures of the prophets. And so betrayal is a mystery, and it is the mystery of iniquity, betrayal. This is the understanding Paul writes about in 2 Thes 2:7, for he writes, “betrayal does already work” in that generation of the judgment, the “not one stone left upon another” judgment of Yerushalem in 70 AD. Is it not so!
Judgment begins with betrayal. This is what is spoke about concerning the purpose of God in the Mashiach, Yeshua, “judgment must begin at the household of the faith.” Is it not so with the Mashiach!
“Hate without a cause” is prophesied concerning the Mashiach in the Old Testament in Ps 35 and Ps 69, and Yohan the apostolos quotes the same passage in Yohan 15. It is the very words of Yeshua in the days of His flesh, for He knew the scriptures, and was taught by God His Father through them, that is, the Old Testament.
But despite these infallible proofs of the prophecies, of which we have many, the contentious ones will continue to be contentious in this generation of judgment, for the time of the nations (Gentiles) are fulfilled. For they are of their father, the false accuser, the father of lies. For his days are short. The time he has to falsely accuse God is short. The end of the Lord is the Lord is very pitiful and of tender mercies. God loves all people. God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. “Let God be true and every man a liar, as it is written, That Thou mightest be justified in Thy sayings, and mightest overcome when Thou are judged.” (Roman 3)
Beloved, I have given you the prophecies of the Old Testament where the understanding of the Mashiach comes. I am dependant on the grace of God by the one true gospel of the Mashiach to reveal God’s eternal purpose to you. God must be the teacher. God is the teacher. For I have been taught of God, and there is the gift of a teacher, but God is your teacher.
